L'Hospitalet Experience is back
For the second year in a row, coinciding with the Mobile World Congress (MWC) at Fira Granvia, L’Hospitalet City Council launches The Village, a cultural and gastronomic proposal linked to L’Hospitalet Experience Project.
The aim of The Village is to show our diverse culture and gastronomy with the help of local restaurateurs, hotel operators, and cultural organizations.
See you from Saturday, 25 February to Wednesday 1 March.
Saturday, 25 February from 11 h to 23 h. Restaurant service will not be operating from 16 to 19 h. The rest of the activities will be open.
Sunday 26, 11 to 17 h.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 27 and 28 de February and 1 March, from 11 to 20 h.
What will you find?
Friendly Place: A 300 m2 covered area where people can savor “tapas” and typical dishes offered by local restaurateurs and cultural organizations. This will be the “informal” area of the Village, with a seating capacity of 400 people. In the evening it will also function as a cocktail bar
The Patio: A wide leisure area where people will be able to eat and drink under the dramatic architecture of Plaça Europa, and enjoy surprising traditional folklore shows and artistic creations.
The Stage: This is where most of the shows will be taking place. Here you’ll dance to the rhythm of L’Hospitalet’s local bands and Djs Have your salsa and rumba moves ready and enjoy different musical styles such as jazz
Food Court: Get ready to sabor the best of our city’s gastrnonomy. More tan 24 local chefs will be here ready to offer you “tapas” and dishes that will delight your senses
Sculpture’s Corner: This is a project promoted by L’Hospitalet City Council and the Arranz-Bravo Foundation with the aim of providing a meeting point between citizens and art. At the Sculpture’s Corner you will find “Bridges”, an art piece by Mermelada Studio. An interactive metaphor about human communication, being a chair its central element .

Networking Place: This covered area that will offer business meals (lunch and dinner) by appointment
It will be the "business center" of the Village, with a seating capacity of 36-40 people. It will also be available for private events organized by companies operating in the MWC (Monday to Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 20 p.m. During the previous weekend this space will be open to the public, but there will be no bar and restaurant service."Tapas" from Parc Agrari: “Calçot” Tempura (Catalan Green onion) and “Pota Blava” chicken croquettes.
Starters: Homemade Km0 bread and tomato with Iberian ham and cheeses from Molí de Ger.
Main course: Smoked rice with Parc Agrari vegetables
Second courses (Choose one):
· Bages organic “Botifarra” (typical catalan sausage) with Santa Pau beans and aioli
· Codfish with “Sanfaina” (typical tomato-based Catalan sauce)
Desserts: Assorted creative pastries
Red and white wines, beer and water
30 Euro. Special requests will be fulfilled on demand (halal, kosher, vegetarian, etc.) On demand special menus for groups will be available.

Starters: Paradoxes. Mint and vanilla pearls, Pumpkin cream, cheese and red fruits Petit Suisse, Hummus paste in a tube and chocolate and orange sticks, Salmon dice with spiced oil pipette.
First course: The Piarist’s stone. Codfish in a cocoa sauce, cooked in an edible clay stone with crispy bulgur wheat curry.
Second course: Mise en place. Vacuum-packed red meats cooked at low temperature with vacuum-packed mini-vegetables and gravy reduction
Desserts: Picking the crumbs: White chocolate ganache with cookie crumbles, mango sauce, pineapple reduction, cheesecake and red fruits coulis wrapped in edible ovoalbumin paper.
Drinks: White wine Petit Clot dels Oms, Red wine Vi Petit 13 Clot dels Oms, Cava brut nature J. Raventos, Mineral water and Coffee.

Our menu proposal includes fruits and vegetables from Parc Agrari del Baix Llobregat; Catalan organic cheese, honey and oil. All served with organic wine from D.O. Costers del Segre.
Show: EMMCA GYPSY TRIO. Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli’s music will take us to the Paris of the 30’s, with the energy of the stimulating gipsy music
